Good clearance planning starts by separating what can be retained or reused from materials that genuinely need to be treated as waste.
Reuse before disposal where practical
Serviceable furniture can sometimes be sold, reused or donated, depending on age, condition, demand, transport costs and applicable safety requirements. We welcome a discussion about suitable routes rather than assuming everything should go directly to a waste facility.
Certain items may be unsuitable for reuse. Where that is the case, we explain the available waste options and their implications.
An appropriate route for each material
Mattresses, timber furniture, metals, textiles and mixed waste may have different outlets and handling requirements. Separating streams where practical can make downstream processing clearer and help avoid unnecessary mixed-waste disposal.
We use suitable authorised waste routes and can discuss transfer documentation for agreed waste collections. Upper Tier waste-carrier registration details should be checked and displayed only after the applicable operating entity is confirmed.
- Identify retained or reusable stock
- Segregate agreed waste streams
- Use appropriate authorised destinations
- Retain relevant transfer records
Straightforward reporting without invented statistics
We will not claim an unsupported percentage of recycling or promise that every item avoids landfill. If you need a particular report, evidence of destination or environmental metric for a hotel group, raise this before work begins so it can be considered within the scope.
